For us, the environment is important. That’s why we participate in Stay for the Planet, a program based on a Standard recognized by GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council), the organization that sets and guides standards for sustainable development in the travel and tourism sector globally.
The program is based on a sustainability rating developed by the LifeGate scientific committee, which, through a score from 1 to 5 expressed in leaves, reflects the environmental and social performance of hotels in the following impact areas: Energy, Water, Waste, Purchases, Behaviors, and People. Our hotel has achieved a rating of 4 out of 5 leaves, thanks also to daily practices such as recycling, which we encourage through dedicated bins in common areas, raising awareness about food waste, and a gastronomic offering that includes vegetarian and vegan alternatives.
A central part of our journey concerns the topic of energy and the responsible management of resources. Thanks to constant monitoring of consumption, we adopt solutions aimed at reducing waste and protecting the environment. The partnership with Repower for the supply of 100% renewable energy has contributed to an overall saving of 591 tons of CO₂ not emitted, significantly reducing our environmental impact.
Our commitment also extends to sustainable mobility: the hotel is equipped with charging stations for electric cars, both universal and dedicated to Porsche vehicles, to offer our guests a service in line with a more responsible vision of travel.

Hotel Moderno Verdi is thrilled to announce the achievement of the Green Key certification, a prestigious recognition awarded by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), which attests to our commitment to more sustainable hospitality.
Obtaining the Green Key certification is the result of a continuous improvement journey, aimed at meeting strict standards in environmental management, energy efficiency, waste management, responsible use of water resources, nature conservation, and promotion of sustainable practices.
